Later, Amiri Decree No. (2) of 2010 was issued to regulate the work of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah, assigning it responsibilities for religious advocacy, awareness, and the care of mosques within the emirate. The Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah aims to convey the call of Allah with wisdom and good advice, facilitate the performance of congregational prayers in mosques, and provide all necessary services and facilities to enable the proper fulfillment of religious duties in a spiritually conducive environment.
